Device Drivers Displays QSL has developed a wide range of drivers for most of the popular display formats including LCD, LED, Plasma, Flaps and CRT devices.
Drivers are often manufacturer and device specific due to the wide range of protocols.
In recent years there have been increasing attempts to standardize protocols. QSL has adopted the EDF railway protocol used by many of the major sign manufactures supplying to the transport sector.

Communication Software RTTI The Real Time Train Information is available to both the public and the TOCS (Train Operating Companies).
The information provided can be read and interpreted for use in a CIS or audio announcement system.
QSL has developed an interface to allow access to RTTI data and prepare public display data and timetables based on this data.

TRUST TRUST data details live train movements and delay information.
TRUST data feeds can be read and used in conjunction with other software applications to improve customer information.

CIF Files CIF files contact all the train running information available from the TSDB database which is derived from TRUST data.
This information can be extracted and used to form SWOB's (Station Working Order Book) as well as CIS timetables.
QSL has software to extract the SWOB and create timetables from the CIF data.

TD - Track Data TD data is used to track train movements around a railway system.
QSL has developed software to display these train movements on maps and use that information to calculate delays.

GPS & MSF Clocks Customer information systems provide live data and the accuracy of that data is becoming increasingly important.

Industrial Computers Standard 4U high A standard 4U high Industrial computer is idea for use in racks.
It has room for 10 slots for expansion and connectivity.

SCIS computer The SCIS is a compact size computer. Despite its small size it is a fully function computer capable of running MS Windows.
It was initially introduced as a Satellite Customer Information System hence its name, but can be used for a much larger range of tasks.

Display Cards CCM Cards CCM cards are ISA slot VGA cards. They are primarily used to present data on PAL or VGA display monitors including Plasma's.

Audio Cards ACM Cards ACM cards are ISA slot cards.

Display Crates Display Crates Standard crates are available to hold banks for CCM and ACM ISA slot cards. Select a link for more information about the specification.

DVC Crates Industrial computers are used as display crates. These provide slots for up to 14 output channels.

AVC Crates The AVC crates are more advanced versions of the DVC's above. These differ from the DVC's by having more sophisticated software that permits display diagnostics and database manipulation.

Maintenance Support 3rd Line Support QSL provides a 3rd line support service. This normally includes telephone support between the hours of 08:00 and 22:00 every day.

Warranty Software QSL will provide warranty and upgrade services when requested.

Hardware QSL will provide warranty on hardware in accordance with the purchase agreement.
Normally this will be a twelve month return to base (QSL) warranty period. When purchasing or requesting a quotation please state your warranty requirements.

Repair Service Hardware The equipment supplied by QSL is quite robust. However well made a system is made it will eventually fail, often more than 6 years after installation.
Sourcing spares can be difficult and for this reason QSL can help to reduce the amount of time and effort needed.

Training On Site or a Suitable Location Training can be provided to suit your needs. This can be QSL product related, Microsoft products or even general LAN and Internet related.
